June Flowers

Hello, everybody. It's been so long I don't post. I am happy to come with my June Flowers. Clockwise from top left are Red Gladiolus, Red Chrysanthemum, Gesneriad and Geranium.

I am on my way to discover my best soil mix to grow plants here in my new garden. The soil is clay, I need to add some organic matters to it.

My favorite is this bicolor geranium. I plan to have some cuttings to root. Wish me luck, it will be my first time to root geranium. :)

My back yard is weedy, I have snapshots from it and I think weed is also beautiful to snap.

Along The Way I went to Office (Nostalgic #1)

Here are some pictures I took before I moved to new office. There were many flowers along the roadside to office, selfsown and grew among the rocks. It was so nice to pass the road and took a look at them.

Lantana, those shrubs grew lush and covered rockhills. Smelled weird but attracted many butterflies, formed small fruits in cluster. Local people used the leaves to feed their goats. The flowers were combination of pink, yellow, orange and white.

Putri Malu (Mimosa pudica)
Have you ever touched this 'shy plant'? The compound leaves fold inward and droop when touched or shaken, to defend themselves from harm, and re-open a few minutes later. Malu-malu.

Japanese Glory Bower (Clerodendrum japonicum)
Gloriosa superba

Impatiens

I passed that road everyday. Lands of green, songs of birds, beauty of flowers, and love from the people..

Those were the last harvest from the garden before I left. I brought some of plants with me but also left many. I left a lovely and beautiful place but keep it in my heart for the sweet memories I had there.

March Flowers

I am trying to get back to the garden as soon as possible. I am pleased to know there are still some flowers bloom this month. I have been chilling some spring bulbs and get them out of the fridge one by one so I can get them bloom whenever I want.
This time is for mixed hyacinth bulbs. I planted 5 mixed ones and they finally show me their colors! Blue (I got two blue bulbs), pink, soft pink (seen as thw white above) and the white one had bloomed last month.

I also get my purple tulip blooms. I planted mixed purple tulip bulb but only one appears. I love the purple pattern it has.

Do you remember my orchid seedlings? One of them blooms this month. I am amazingly surprised to see its color. Purple with light striped. I think I am lucky to have it. Orchid will last to two months of bloom. An enough time to enjoy a beauty from flowers.

I am linking up to May Dreams Gardens, and hope it is not too late to join. :)

Happy GBBD!
