Harvest Monday: Panen Buncis

I planted runner bean in the last week of November. They grew fast, blooming in last week of Desember and I now can harvest the bean. 






 I can still harvest a little amount of brassica (which I am not sure it is Kai Lan), curly mustard, costuloto tomato and red amaranth. The curly mustard is eaten by locust, they form holes on the leaf. The leaves must be crunchy and delicious for the buddy locust :).

Anyone can help me find out what brassica I have in the garden? I got the seeds from a neighbor and just grow them in the garden. The leaves are pretty large and have flowers from small clustering buds.

    Lovely harvests. I have always loved the runner bean flowers. They are so pretty. I can't help with the brassica naming though. It looks like some generic brassica flower to me. They all seem to look alike.

    Very nice harvests! I love fresh beans..it will still be several months before we are enjoying them again. In the meantime, at least we still have some frozen from last years garden.

    Seronoknya dapat harvest beans tu ya, saya pernah cuba menanam beans ini tapi fail, mayb should try again, :)

      Wa'alaykumussalaam Kak Mar..
      Apakah gerangan yang menyebabkan Kak Mar gagal beberapa kali dalam menanam buncis? Buncis di sini tak perlu banyak perawatan, Hari tanam di tempat full sun. Mungkin Kak Mar perlu berikan baja ataukah ada serangan hama?
